After reflecting on last week’s challenge, we thought about our latest challenge! This week the children were asked to work as a team to find a way to make the nano bug travel to 3 different points without us touching it.
We watched a short clip that showed what one boy constructed using Lego.
We discussed some of the different materials we might use and what they were made from.
After getting into our groups, our first job was to be cooperative communicators and decide as a group what material we would use to construct our nano bug maze.
Once we had chosen from a variety of materials, we set to work to create our maze! We had to be thinkers and problem solvers and communicate our ideas with our peers.
